Fruit Catch operates on a simple but increasingly challenging physics-based catching system. Your basket moves horizontally across the bottom of the screen controlled by touch or tilt input, while fruits fall from the top at varying speeds and trajectories. The core loop requires you to position your basket precisely under each falling fruit while simultaneously avoiding bombs that end your run instantly.

The difficulty progression system accelerates fruit drop speed by 8% every 10 successful catches, introducing multi-fruit waves at score milestones of 50, 100, and 200 points. Bomb frequency increases from one every 15 seconds in early game to one every 6 seconds at advanced levels. The combo multiplier mechanic rewards consecutive catches without misses: 3x multiplier at 5 catches, 5x at 10 catches, and 10x at 15+ catches, dramatically boosting score potential for skilled players.

Power-ups spawn randomly with a 12% chance per fruit drop, offering temporary advantages like magnetic attraction within 30% screen radius, protective shields that absorb one bomb hit, or 2x point multipliers lasting 8 seconds. The scoring algorithm awards base points per fruit type (10-50 points) multiplied by active combo level and any multiplier power-ups, creating exponential score growth opportunities during perfect runs.
